Stepping up with an astounding collection of first-class sonics, Fred V’s highly anticipated debut solo album, ‘Radiate’ is on the horizon for the summer of 2021, on Hospital Records. Consisting of 15 tracks that feature exciting collaborations with Millbrook, Zara Kershaw, Vonné, Lottie Jones and SAYAH. Fred V’s first-ever standalone longplayer is everything you’d hope for and more, built from an infusion of electronic influences from the past, present and future. Expect an up-close and intimate insight into the Exeter-based multi-instrumentalist, as he continues to carve out his unique musical identity through ethereal soundscapes and melancholic climates.

Combining efforts with the Berlin-based fresh talent, Millbrook who’s released on seminal imprints such as RAM, Viper and Spearhead, ‘Poison’ is an electrifying drum & bass scorcher featuring Fred V’s own mesmerising vocals immersed in cutting edge synth work and growling basslines, a nod to the widely loved style of Fred V & Grafix’s ‘Recognise’ album.

Heart-warming chimes, hazy vocal chops and futuristic drums lay at the core of ‘Glockenspiel Riddim’ as Fred V’s signature feel-good energy raises the vibe into a realm of smile-inducing flourishes and vitalising melodies.

‘Already Disappeared’ is a euphoria drenched singalong anthem. A clear demonstration of his multifaceted production style, Fred V brings together elevating atmospheres with sounds from the deeper side of the drum & bass spectrum.

Illustrious pads and big room synth plucks set the scene on ‘Gezellig’, paving the way for a rumbling reese bassline and drums which include old school breaks with a 2021 twist. Prepare to be taken to a world of exhilarant vibrations and blissful auras.

Album title-track ‘Radiate’ features the breathtaking vocals of Lottie Jones who is no stranger to Fred V’s productions with previous collaborations including ‘Atmosphere’ and ‘Proximity’. Stripped back drums and a resonant sub bass lay the groundwork for Lottie’s enchanting melodies to shine through.

With his debut album marking a fresh chapter in his career as a solo artist, Fred V’s journey so far has been a remarkable one. From his decade-long collaborative project alongside Grafix which saw many world tours, live shows and three studio albums.
