Soft pretzels are a treat many celiacs and those with gluten-intolerances miss the most. Miss no more. This recipe works wonderfully using our All Purpose Flour. Make plain, cinnamon or cheese dough and knot, twist and snip them into your favourite pretzel shapes. We boil ours in baking soda, the traditional way.

I can't wait to make these! Almost all of the other recipes I've looked at so far call for lye/sodium hydroxide which I would be very nervous to have in my kitchen, so the idea of using sodium bicarbonate instead is brilliant!! ❤

Suppose we have to assume active dry yeast. But maybe it is instant - hard to say.
