How to Check To See if Your Chronic #headache is Coming from an Occipital Nerve Entrapment

🙋‍♀️ Ever heard of OCCIPITAL NEURALGIA?

It’s another common cause of chronic tension headaches that:

✅ haven’t gone away in over 6 months
✅ when you’ve seen 3+ doctors without relief?

Especially when those headaches are located right where Greg is pointing.

That’s where the occipital nerve lives.

When a nerve is chronically pulled tight
more than 15% of its length, it loses blood flow and becomes inflamed.

What was once angel hair pasta now becomes a piece of fettucine!

That makes it easier for people to feel.

1️⃣ Find the bottom of your skull
2️⃣ Move 1” to either side from the midline
3️⃣ Follow an imaginary line up
4️⃣ As you keep your finger soft and move it from side to side
5️⃣ Focus on the area of your head where you have the pain!
6️⃣ If you feel a string moving vertically, you’ve just diagnosed yourself with an occipital nerve entrapment by ADHESION!

This problem won’t respond to:

❌ adjustments
❌ stim
❌ massage
❌ physical therapy

To get rid of the headaches, get the adhesion removed by adhesion specialist!

Chronic headache patients are becoming one of our fast growing collections of success stories!

I have had the exact same pain where my uppermost vertebrae meets the base of my skull on the right side since a skiing accident when I was 12, in which I sustained a spinal injury and TBI. I really feel like it is killing me. I have been to so many different doctors and specialists over the years without success. It’s probably trigeminal neuralgia but in the past two years I have had 7 of these very sudden onset headaches that stem from behind my right eye. They cause vision loss and extreme pain but are fairly short in duration. I have pretty intense fears of hospitals and doctors, and it’s so overwhelming. I often feel very, very little hope for my life.

I was born with congenital hydrocephalus in September 1988, and only started having headaches about 3 years ago. And neither my neurosurgeon nor my general practitioner could figure out why my headaches were happening. Only to figure out after seeing a neurologist nurse practitioner, that all of my symptoms do indicate occipital neuralgia.

does this nerve affect the eyes? I have pressure on one side of my head and behind my eye. It also affects my eyebrow and eyelid muscles.

Please do a medical check-up for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) as your symptoms may be originating from a form of Hiatal Hernia and/or an H. pylori infection ( I had to do an endoscopy with biopsy to confirm this as it did not show in my blood or stool even though it was in my stomach). You would be surprised how problems with your gastrointestinal tract affect your overall well-being. Symptoms may include unexplained weight loss and difficulty gaining weight, iron deficiency, anemia, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, loss of appetite, shortness of breath, sudden severe cold, palpitations (high pulse), high blood pressure or even slightly low blood pressure.

I have had this for 3 three years and have no hope that it will get better. The doctor doesn't understand what I am going through.

I've had pain/ tightness in this region for over two years, but only when upright (it goes away when lying down). I also had an unprovoked pulmonary embolism just over a year ago, so not much luck with health!
