As a Brit I'm confused by so many Americans antipathy towards health mandates.
There are mandates that you must stop at a red light; must wear your seat belt; must fill in your tax return by a certain date etc etc etc.

When Homeopathic gurus got a foothold on people's minds, first in books and online, telling people there are ways to control disease other than big pharma, or forking out the money involved in overcharging for drugs has created a specific paranoia. The combination of not knowing how science works with a generation of Yule Gibbins style "cure it yourself" has convinced people that should be enough. It has appealed to preppy mothers and "living Clean" ideologies to keep chemicals away from their lifestyles because they think they have more control over their lives.

Mom here. I am pro vaccine and also pro “not all kids react the same” Why is it a problem to break the vaccines up into individual and smaller doses? That would call some of us down.
