They have so many cool documentaries, besides Vikings, like dinosaurs, asteroids, and ancient worlds! I'm watching "Eat Like A Wolf" next! :D Shall we make a video on that too?! Let me know!

My former teacher was a world renowned viking historian. As was said, meat was for rich folks. Let us not get things mixed here, fish eas "abundant" compared to any other meat source. And most proteins got conservated, just like in any other part of the world. Smoking, salting, pickled, and so on. This is of course also true for vegetables. Now one of the cool things was the shared farming and fishing. Meaning there was a collective around securing food. Some fished, some took care of the farm land, and others took care of the conservation of the food, drink making and so on, and then they pulled their resources together. That way almost everybody would get through a bad harvest or especially bad winter. It is called socialism. that is how people have survived in groups for more than a thousand years.

Fun fact! Vikings were from the Viking age but people from the Viking age were not all Vikings. Vikings was actually an occupation, like a warrior

I have a question everyone how did the Vikings went to America? Did they met the Native Americans? Did they had a war with them and how did they survived in America?

This looks good. Is there a recipe for how exactly you made this?

Vikings almost never kept records of themselves or their culture, so despite all we know about Vikings, we know almost nothing about their music, their art, their food and cuisine, or even the languages they spoke. Most of what we know about them comes from third party accounts of the English, French, Germans, and Dutch who were constantly raided by them. Unfortunately a lot of these third hand accounts tend to be over exaggerated
