The imperial family typically vacationed in Livadia during the spring and fall. Livadia is a settlement in southern Crimea, not far from the city of Yalta. To get there, they would take the train from St. Petersburg to Sevastopol, and then board a ship, before eventually arriving at the Yalta port with great ceremony. The tsar, with his wife and children, would enjoy the healing air, go for walks, swim, sunbathe, go hunting, ride horses, and take drives in the countryside.

This video is published in the framework of the project for the book "The Romanov Royal Martyrs: What Silence Could Not Conceal".

They were once an Imperial family with a tragic ending😭 I am a Filipino who's so curious about this Russian history. I feel sorry for the family. They dont deserve to be killed just like that. Also, their innocent dogs. I still cant sleep peacefully at night. I always imagine how they faced such tragic ending😭 not to forget their servants who didnt leave their side. RIP Royal family, Royal dogs, and servants❤
