1. The Bing Cherry Tree is one of the finest and most famous sweet cherry varieties. These trees glow when they're covered in white flowers. Later in the spring and summer, the leaves become bright green and have a vivid contrast to the dark fruit. Very large, dark, and delicious cherries will be produced. The fruit is firm, extremely juicy, and sweet. These cherries are perfect for baking and preserves, and are delicious in the hot summer. The bing cherry trees will grow to be 16-20 feet tall, can adapt to many soils, and thrive in full sun.

2. The Lapins Cherry Tree is a cross between the Van and Stella Cherry. This is one of the largest and juiciest of the sweet cherries and provides multi seasonal interest. Lapins cherries are self-fruitful and do not require a pollinator to set in fruit in most regions. The flavor is rich, sweet, and juicy. These are delicious right off the tree, and are wonderful for baking. They are hardy to -20 degrees, and will turn a delightful autumn color in the fall. Typically, they'll grow to be 15-20 feet tall, can adapt to many soils, and thrive in full sun.

3. The Montmorency Cherry produces the most popular sour cherry in the United States! This is widely considered to be the very best cherry for making pies. This prized cherry typically welcomes clusters of red cherries near July. The fruit is large, and possesses bright red skin. These cherry trees are very hardy, even in the cold. One tree can produce armloads of tasty cherries. They'll grow to be 25-30 feet tall, can adapt to many soils, and thrive in full sun.

4. The Sweetheart Cherry Tree contains ornamental features and delicious, summer fruit. These cherry trees would look incredible lining your driveway, or even individually in your front or side yard. Your Sweetheart Cherry tree will create a vivid spectacle for friends and neighbors to enjoy. The fruit ripens over a period of a couple weeks, which extends your harvest season, and what a harvest it is! The shiny, bright, heart shaped red fruits exterior covers the smooth, crisp skin. These are sure to make your taste buds water. These will grow to be 30-35 feet tall, can adapt to many soils, and thrive in full sun.

5. The Rainier Cherry Tree is a fruit-producing tree with outstanding yellow cherries. Plant one in a prominent spot in your yard, so its decorative appeal stands out. Often called the "white cherry", Rainier is prized for its exceptionally sweet fruit. It's often considered the best yellow cherry by gardeners - sometimes even called the best of ALL cherry varieties. These cherries are large and lively, with a delightful scarlet blush. You'll be able to enjoy this harvest in mid-June. These will grow to be 15-25 feet tall, can adapt to many soils, and thrive in full sun.

We had a small tree like these with white blossoms that produced a sweet fruit the birds loved. Fruit was larger than these cherries but smaller than plums with about the same sweetness and taste? I can't figure out what tree it was, we did have a plum tree also right across from it. Anyone or any experts know what type of tree we had or if there was some cross pollination happening etc????

Has anyone tried the small or short cherry tree think it was #2. That’s the one I want to try because in video they said it doesn’t grow that tall and it’s sweet.
