My Process of Making a Flipnote

I recently started doing storyboards in my sketchbook for this stuff but instead of putting it into flip note i just drew it in flipnote

I see we have similar processes
Mine is a bit different tho

Step 1: Record audio that I have a vague idea for
Step 2: Go in and write the lyrics when they're heard to make timing and lip synching easier later on
Step 3: Maybe draw a few key points from the idea I may or may not have had
Step 4: Forget about it for a few months
Step 5: Get very little sleep for about a week until I reach Peak Tired and pray my ADHD kicks in so I'll have the desire to be productive
Step 6: Work on each scene one by one until it's entirely finished all in one night
Step 7: Tell myself that it looks alright and that as long as I had fun making it, that's all that matters, but still feel deep down that it could be better and I'm only letting myself down by not being experimental and not trying to do anything new
Step 8: Try to keep the train going by working on at least one of the other 200 flipnotes on my system
Step 9: Fail
Step 10: Forget about making flipnotes for another few months until I get another stroke of inspiration

And that's about it.

I clicked on this video expecting a cool process, instead I got just that AND a flipnote on one of my favorite Muse songs? WHAT A WONDERFUL BONUS I AM SO PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AHA
I desperately want to get back into flipnotes and animation in general, but my character designs have gotten way too complex to be even considered to be animation friendly, and I don’t know where to even start on even simplifying them (plus I’m stubborn) stumbling across your channel was a wonderful surprise and has inspired me, and I can’t thank you enough for that ^^ (The Moss absolutely blew my mind because I didn’t know it was even possible to do an entire song on flipnote) please keep up the fantastic work!
