British-Israeli historian Avi Shlaim attended the UK premiere of the film 'Tantura', hosted by the International Centre of Justice for Palestinians (ICJP) in May, where he shared his thoughts on the film and reiterated that the Tantura massacre was just one of multiple massacres committed by Israeli forces during the Nakba.

The professor is one of many examples that not all Israelis are war mongers and murderers. Follow Miko Peled, the Israeli pro Palestine activist and author of “the general’s son, the Journey of an Israeli in Palestine”, who is another peace loving Israeli. There is hope when views of these honourable men seeps through our conscience as a society.

This person is speaking the absolute truth. Those who refute, I challenge you to do your own research. I have and I’m not Palestinian. Israeli war crimes must be told and they must be held responsible.

He is so true. But unfortunately such voices are being silenced in the media.

The Israeli state should never have been established there. It should have been given a large island somewhere so the people could be on their own, and not persecuting the people around them.

the day will come when the israili forces and govt. had to pay for what they have done so far ... the time will repeat .. you had to harvest what you have sowed ... you have to face consequences for that and that day no apology would be accepted .... the day will come ... wait and watch .. الله أكبر🇸🇦🇸🇦🇸🇦

I came here after Prof. Avi Shlaim's 'Debate About 1948'. In his article, he identified himself as a 'new historian' a term for historians who are critical of the Zionist perception of Israeli history. He examined various sources to dissect the topics surrounding UK's hostility towards the infant-state Isreal (which he refuted), the refugee problem and the Arabs intransigence to peace (he found that, in various sources, it's suggested that there were three Arab nations (including Jordan) who were ready to make peace straight after Isreal was established. They all required land concessions and wanted to discuss refugee problems. However, in the end, the Israeli PM decided the terms suggested were not worthy of the pursuit of peace. Thus, the reason why the Arab countries and Israel were stuck in a deadlock state was largely due to Intransigence on Israel's part).

Here is a question. They had barely come out of that situation with Hitler. Where did they get the resources to go hijack someone else's country?
