The company is trying to make money to stay afloat, pay off debt, and keep licenses. If you take risks, it could make your situation worse, and we'd complain about it, i.e. Wheel of Fortune. I don't think we'll see anything other than rereleases in the short-to-midterm until the company gets its legs back under it. For those who only have a Ms Pac Man, this is amazing.

I don't mind more Pac-Man's I'm just upset they aren't XLs. I missed out on the first go around and I'd like to see these new iterations as XL

I think it more for people that never got a chance to get one. I’m guessing this new look will make people who never got one might consider getting one. It a good start for anyone that want to start they little arcade in they home. I just got my first arcade from them last month and it the class of 81, and I glad I waited to this point. I’m definitely going to grab two more 1up arcades early next year.

In order for entities like Arcade1UP to maintain their PAC-MAN license, they are contractually obligated to produce new products featuring PAC-MAN on a regular basis over a pre-determined period of time. Failure to do so means losing the license. This is a common practice.

Completely done with this company. I’ve resorted to making my own custom cabinets that A1up won’t make.

Based on the latest press releases it isn’t a surprise that they are rereleasing and repackaging the same cabinets. They don’t have the capital to develop brand new products/games. We just need to accept the facts at this point. They are just trying to hang on at this point.

I've not been long, maybe 3 months, found my first arcade 1up cab, and of course it's Pac-man. Never played so much Pac-man till now. Got it for a good price on market place, $100.

I'm very ambivalent about this cabinet. I love the cabaret look and I might have considered it had I not already gone and gotten the previous deluxe yellow pac-man cabinet. I was thinking it was a shame it was previously so limited and should return as a riserless deluxe design since it'd be easier than trying to mod the previous one and matching or redoing the wood grain..

But this one is just not for me like most of the cabinets that have been released so far this year.


I also prefer the more arcade accurate tilted design of the previous deluxe and XL pac-man deluxe cabinets and this is a return to the previous orientation as even the real cabarets have it slightly tilted back more than this does..

Also, sadly this IS a "slimcady" as the depth is 18" just like the NBA Jam compared to the ~22" of previous deluxes is but with the notable exception that they at least back peddled a little bit and made the base of it a full 18" so it doesn't need the casinocade style foot on the front any more. The 18" depth measurement on the NBA Jam Deluxe was including the foot.. without it it was probably around 15-16" deep making it a good 7" shallower than the previous standard deluxe while not really saving space because of the foot.

Now we need re-releases of Centipede and Blue Ms. Pac-Man… both in Deluxe!!! Instant buys for me as I build my home arcade!!

Mike, you did say you were the type to have a recreation/replica specific to the marquee game (Read: Using it like it isn’t a multicade)

…but could you imagine a home arcade populated entirely with Pac Man variants: Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac-Man Plus, Jr. Pac-Man, Pac & Pal, Pac-Land, Pac-Mania

Mike it’s the same dimensions as the Slimcady just no foot pedal because the control panel doesn’t stick out. LFG! 🤣👊🏼
