The number of Louisiana adults without health insurance has tremendously dropped.

A new study shows the number has been cut in half, since the state expanded its medicaid program.

It found the number of uninsured people, ages 19 to 64, dropped from 600-thousand people in 2015 to roughly 300-hundred thousand people in 2017.
