The most unlikely character to get in Slash alongside Sora (and for extremely opposite reasons)... and coincidentally they both were the last DLC characters in their respective Smash games!

I like Bayo's costumes in Smash, them using both her B1 and B2 looks just makes obvious sense and the colors have decent origins and references, what with the Jeanne and Anarchy Reigns colors and all that.

Also, her B2 look is the superior one because that haircut coupled with her glasses makes her look more like a MILF.

I feel like the orange costume is actually a reference to Loki, her youth companion in the second game as Cereza, her companion in B1 already has a reference in the player 2 red costume. It’d make sense to have costumes referencing both her companions, not just one. Her 7th costume in turn could also be a reference to her father Balder, as he himself wears white as a Lumen Sage and has a big impact on Bayo 2. Also her 6th costume, the red one from earlier, could actually be a reference to Alrune, a demon Bayo fights in Inferno, who largely also uses rose motifs making the rose printing on P2 Bayo’s suit seems reasonable.

Part of me wonder that if, hypothetically, Bayonetta returns in a future Smash Bros game, will she receive costumes based on her Bayonetta 3 design? As well as the possibility of having the different versions of her in Bayonetta 3 as alternate costumes, which includes the Bayonetta from the first 2 games.

Bayonetta 2 was a Wii U exclusive, with 1 coming shortly after. Bayonetta pretty much is a Nintendo character now

Anarchy Reigns is the sequel of MadWorld, which was released on Wii. Stuff regarding characters can be represented even if they aren't on Nintendo for association, like Cloud's Ehrgeiz costumes
