Identifying an Author's Point of View or Purpose in Texts

When we read a text critically, we must be able to identify an author's point of view and purpose. This may seem daunting, but there are usually clues in the texts that help us do that. In this educational video, students will learn how to spot these clues and use them to figure out what an author's point of view and purpose are.
