Getting Schooled with Matt Entz | How Clinics Make You Better | Day 2

We don’t want the last episode of Getting Schooled with Matt Entz to end — Day 2 of the snowmobile workshop gets the group into some advanced terrain in the southern Colorado mountains hitting sick lines with epic views. We learn a little more about Matt, a KLIM Backcountry Team athlete, and what drives the whole family-oriented hosting experience at the Mountain Skillz lodge in South Fork, Colorado, which he has owned with his wife, Jesse, since 2012.

“Pretty awesome classroom we’re working in here,” Matt tells students, offering immediate feedback and individual coaching and on the snow. “We want to be planning at all times about three or four moves ahead - that’s how far ahead we want to be looking.”

The group reminisces on all the missions they’ve accomplished in two days, hitting steep, tight sidehills, finding balance on the sled and eventually exceeding their own expectations for themselves; it’s why they keep coming back year after year.
