I’m still so confused on why they gave her that haircut. They always repeat how there is a “DCC style” and that hair is nowhere close to the style. Their style is long and wave or extremely curly. That punk rock haircut was nowhere near the iconic DCC hairstyle.

That’s not even a DCC hairstyle, it’s like they did it to her on purpose so they could use it as a reason to cut her later. What a shame she was such a cute girl!

I love this show but I would be so mad if somebody did that to my hair. The other girls all got beautiful haircuts and they butchered her hair. It's not even a DCC make over hair cut.

I would feel the same way. Everyone has long and beautiful hair. Taylor has short and choppy hair. You can't expect her to not have any reaction.

I loved Taylor! She seemed so grounded, down-to-earth, and normal. Some of these girls speak and act like robot dolls, so I really find it easy to connect with the ones like Taylor who are just themselves! I’m glad she warmed up to her hair. But as others have said, it wasn’t a DCC cut, so it probably stressed her out. She still rocked it, though! It takes serious strength and confidence to rock a hair cut you didn’t really want. You gotta give her credit.

In all honesty, I feel like they did this for drama. This isn't the DCC look at all and I felt like they knew they would end up cutting her.

Frankly. They gave her a horrible haircut. Their is no "cheer" in that haircut. The layers are extreme and don't really fit her face imo.

I like Taylor! I understand unintentionally giving off a “pissed off” vibe when really it might be focusing or trying to sort out thoughts in your head. I know she didn’t like it at first but I feel like they were over analyzing her attitude.

I loooove and respect Kelli and Judy but I hated the way they treated Taylor. One specific situation was when they allowed Cassie to make a rude comment to her in front of everyone. It wasn’t a constructive comment either. BUT THATS ONLY MY OPINION!

You know how on America’s next top model they’ll shave girls heads or something and film them being upset? I really think that’s what they were going for here. I don’t think Taylor was going to make the team and they knew that her time there was ticking so they did something for drama. I think she would have looked better with a bob haircut or some good extensions (the ones she had originally were bad). The style they gave her was more biker babe or rocker chick, not DCC at all.

These ladies sabotaged Taylor. I was on a squad long ago and I was browbeat about my hairstyle when no one else’s looked any better. I can relate to Taylor’s feelings. The only difference is I didn’t get railroaded into changing my hair. Cheerleading at any level can be brutal.

It kinda seems like Judy had a issue with Taylor. We have all seen the part where Cassie came after Taylor in practice. But maybe I’m seeing things but there was some kind of hostility from Judy to Taylor. Like talking under her breath about the hair thing while she was dancing in her group.
