On November 4th 2020 the two new superyachts NORD and KAOS met on the river Elbe (Germany) in front of the entrance to the Kiel Canal. While the NORD was waiting for her entry into the Kiel Canal, the KAOS, coming from Hamburg, sails past the NORD in the direction of Gibraltar.
With a length of 142 meters the NORD is currently the eleventh-longest superyacht in the world and is in the final phase of construction. It is being built by the LURSSEN shipyard in Bremen (Germany).
The KAOS was originally built in 2017 by the OCEANCO shipyard in Alblasserdam (Netherlands) under the name JUBILEE. At the time of its construction, it was the largest superyacht that OCEANCO has ever built. In 2020 the JUBILEE was rebuilt at the Blohm+Voss shipyard in Hamburg (Germany). It was given the new name KAOS. This sailing on November 4th 2020 was also the first sailing under the new name KAOS. With a length of 110 meters the KAOS is currently 37th among the longest superyachts in the world.
