Today i was removed from a meetup group due to false accusations 
I was contacted by an event organizer to say that there was an issue between myself and another member from two years previous.

i asked who it could be and the name i was given i didn't recognize.

i looked up my accusers meetup profile pic and had no idea who it was 
i asked what the issue was and was told it was because of someone we both had dated and that at some point i had threatened him.

it was only then i realized what was happening.

i had to do a little digging to see when i'd dated this woman and it was 5 years previously in 2016

This person that was accusing me of threatening him failed to mention to the group organizer that he was the woman's previous boyfriend and that while i was dating her he was still obsessed with her.

He sent me messages telling me he was sleeping with her behind my back, 

i can only speculate he was trying to split us up.
he failed to mention that at one point we had to call the rcmp to intervene after he dropped off another (gift) in her driveway,
this time a pressure washer. 
which the constable loaded in his cruiser with great difficulty and took it back to him and to tell him to leave us alone.


I remember one of her sons at the time saying why does he have to ruin everything for us, 


this behaviour apparently wasn't an isolated incident with him, 

i was told by the organizer to abstain from the bike ride tomorrow because of this 
i declined the offer and was removed from the event and deleted from the group

Absurd how hard Meetup makes it to find the cost of creating a group. Seriously, one goes to the "create group" page and there is no info whatsoever about the cost? No menu option to see the cost?
Maybe you are rightfully embarrassed about the cost?
