I understood the pain most girls go through💔. But here in Meghalaya ( One of the eight states of the Northeast India) since we're a matrilineal society, girls need not go to their in-laws to stay with them. We can either leave our parents from both side and live in our own and start afresh which they called a nuclear family. Here the youngest daughter stay with the parents even after marriage and her husband will come and stay with her and his in-laws. Here everyone have the choice to choose what's best for them even the same is apply to the youngest daughter.

Edit - For those saying that atleast my parents take care of me....Look people taking care is one thing and treating someone with care is another thing. My parents give me everything I need in my day to day life but what lacks in our relationship is respect... respect from their side, like I sacrificed my entire childhood for them and they can't accept my one self-made decision, that's simply selfish. I will never deny the fact that I owe them my life, they brought me in this world and raised me, but I just wish they could've understood me the way I do, for them.
