NES/Famicom gets a bird game called "Bird Week" and there's never a bird game for Master System.

Brazilian here! And you are terribly wrong. All we have here is a weird slab of plastic with 20 master system games and 120 shovelware titles. The thing calls itself a master system and sells in those stores that sell refrigerators and tvs... what is it called, a departament store?
Still, cool that you mentioned us! :)

I would love to see pictures of that supplemental manual on golden axe warrior, I have never seen another copy with that! Good work, definitely try to get those missing boxes and any missing manuals if there were any.

The Wonder Boy in Monster Land cart isn't a separate release its just a label variation like the Monopoly listed as MONO POLY, or the Psycho Fox with the typo

Hello from Scotland. Some pal games i think you should buy. Air Rescue (spiritual successor to Choplifter) Asterix (One of the greatest 8 bit platform games ever made, enough said) Batman Returns (Originally was going to be a Shinobi game, soundtrack by Yuzo Koshiro) Bonanza Bros (I personally find the SMS version better than it's Mega Drive counterpart) F1 ( One of the best racing games on the system, hard though) The Flintstones (So bad it's good, paint that fence!!) James Pond 2 (Besides just being a great game, it's a good cart to shove in and show off to all those NES fanboys how graphically superior the SMS is. Wow it looks 16 bit, all hail the SMS colour palette!) The Jungle Book (It's a decent game, but again, graphically, it's just gorgeous. With some amazing parallax scrolling as well.) Land Of Illusion (It's the sequel to Castle Of Illusion, it's mandatory you have this in your collection) Krusty's Fun House (It's getting rarer to find, i have fond memories of it, underrated gem) Laser Ghost (Best Light gun game on the system) The Lion King (Just youtube the soundtrack. Amazing 8 bit renditions of Can You Feel The Love Tonight, Hakuna Matata, who ever said the SMS had inferior sound to the NES.) The Lucky Dime Caper (Again it's mandatory you own this game.) Master Of Darkness (A Sega Castlevania rip off with Jack The Ripper as a boss that is arguably better than Castlevania, yes please.) Power Strike 2 (Buy the Australian version, it's cheaper.) Robocop Vs The Terminator (Ok so it's got a bit of slowdown, it's unfairly hard, impossible even. But it's still lots of fun though) Wimbledon (The best 8 bit iteration of tennis)

Very interesting my friend. I'm brazillian and its true, even today Master System is on sale in our country.
You mentioned about the same game with diferente names. Its true too!
Here in Brasil "wonder boy in monster land" had a differente version by a brazillian caracter called "Monica no castelo do dragão" they call it "hack" i guess
"Ghost house" became "Chapolin x dracula", "Psycho fox" became "Sapo xulé", "Teddy boy" became "Geraldinho"
and another games had another names like "Transbot" became "Nuclear creature", "Aleste" became "Power strike"

You said about "James buster douglas knockout", well it's almost the same game in 3 other versions
"Rocky"
"Heavy weight champion"
"George foreman's boxing"

by the way, do you have the Street fighter version for SMS made by Tec Toy?

Absolutely loved that buddy. You got a new subscriber. Anything master system gets a massive thumbs up.from me. Wonderboy in monsterland is my favourite game ever. I've got the super wonderboy cart aswel. Don't know why they did that though. I'm from the UK and don't think that version got released over here... I might be wrong though lol

"What do I do now" : You get the original boxes for those games in custom cases ! :D

Nice collection !

Do you have any of the Canadian released PAL games that have a Canadian specific UPC barcode sticker ?

By the way, I'll need to research this on my own, but I think Wonder Boy in Monster Land only had one of the two variations released in the US, so you might have a mixed boxed/cart there. You made me realize I might need to hunt the other cart variation now for my own set :D
