Whoa! This figure looks amazing! I can't understand why anyone would complain about it. To me, it looks like the Ramjet I remember. Bring on Dirge & Thrust! ;)

Great review. You were lucky enough to get a Ramjet with properly assembled shoulders. The folks that are having issues getting things tabbed in in jet mode probably have the misassembled shoulders. Seems to be fairly common, unfortunately.

Exellent review as always, Khai! I love how this is a heavy retool of the MP-11 mold, but yet, still so different in the transformation. You know me, buddy, Im all about keeping my collection official. But the new designer at Takara have been a bit disappointing to me... I didn't really have any complains on the MPs since the release of Tracks, but Shockwave is the worst MP in my opinion so far... Stickers, electronics and just about no paint is not what I consider to be a proper MP... Ramjet is okey though and I like him. But Shockwave was a let down to me... He looks nice as far as esthetics and transformation goes, but it feels like Takara got lazy with Shockwave. I've heard rumors from several people that Optimus Primal will be his last MP, and that the old designer returns next year. I sure hope thats true... Will you be getting Primal? I've heard that he is the only MP Beast Wars figure they'll do. I'll be skipping on it myself though. Not a BW fan LOL! I wonder who's next after Primal. Will be a long wait for the next MP it seems. We've been spoiled with a massive amount of MP releases these last few figures, which Im all okey with :D One figure each month on average! Yey! LOL! Do we love it? Yes we do!!! Wish I was a fly on the wall at the Takara Transformers department :D But with my luck, everybody would probaly have a news paper in hand and chase me around the room LOL! Do we dare to hope for a official MP Reflector next year?

I don't have this toy in hand and usually they do look much better in hand. This guy appears in video to be a good mold but far from capturing the true essence of Ramjet in the cartoon. Because he looked like he wore chaps, he always reminded me of a cowboy look. He doesn't give my imagination that impression in the toy. The back kibble is out of control and really unacceptable for a MP figure. The knee kibble is atrocious for a $180+ figure. It is true he had white up his leg but not hanging off his knee. Takara took some liberties in the design and truth be told this should probably be considered an overpriced flop. Whether I will buy or not I am having major trouble deciding but he is not wowing me like a $180 figure should. These prices are driving me crazy.
