I loved Weaver's performance as Kiri. Some people complain about Kiri's voice and they say it doesn't sound youthful enough. Fair enough, but they're forgetting Kiri is a blue alien, so who's to say what an alien's voice should sound like?

Literally nobody in my theater knew this was Sigourney nor did they complain about the performance. Nobody. I knew about Kiri’s casting going into the movie, but what I saw it as, was Kiri being just generally more of a mature person than the rest of kids. But at no time did she feel like a 70 year old! Hats off to Ms. Weaver, excellent job as Kiri!😁

I loved it! It gave Kiri an old soul feel and you could really believe that she was the daughter of the biologist. I thought it was a brilliant idea! Anyone else would have tried to embody the biologist to give that mother- daughter feel so this was very natural. Imo

I suspect people were only put off because they *recognized* her voice and they couldn't shake the image they had of Sigourney Weaver. Not because her voice or performance was unrealistic. Not all teenage girls sound like Disney princesses. And this particular teenage girl isn't exactly normal either. She gave me a "wise beyond her years" feel and some will mark that as a negative, but I think it fits the character perfectly.

Sigourney was fantastic, and a standout among giants. What a great character, and her powers fit perfectly with the story. I’m really surprised she is receiving any negative reviews. She doesn’t deserve them. Job well done! You made the movie a better one with your part in it.

I Watched the movie without knowing she was played by Sigourney and it didn’t cross my mind she was played by an older actress. Her character was so unique. It capture my attention as it’s own. I didn’t had to think who play it. I think that’s the problem. If you concentrate too much in who is playing who, you stop seeing them as characters in the story and you start comparing them with their actor counterparts. Sigourney did amazing ! And her voice was interesting to me too, it didn’t sounded like Sigourney, so I guess it was enhanced to sound different. I really liked it

Grace never had a baby, when Eewa is transferring Grace into Avatar, Grace is weaker. So Eewa created baby in that Avatar body which is Kiri. Kiri is born because of Grace and Eewa. So she is so connected to Eewa. It's like Grace's new life. As she is not born normally, you can expect a few things to be off. Also for her personality, that mature voice suits a lot.

What? What are people talking about? She does sound a bit more mature however i think that is due to Kiri own nature like an "old soul" we all have met someone young that has an "old soul" at some point in our lives

I liked that Grace played her child, the voice of Grace is so nice to hear again. And i saw no problems with Kiri and how she acted and behaved in the Cinema yesterday

Totally in love with Kiri, Sigourney's performance is astonishing good as always. People saying the opposite just didn't know how to attack the movie and went with the first thing coming up in their mind.
