This fundraiser was setup by organizers, who are themselves a group of white dude Democratic political operatives who r unaffiliated with Harris’ campaign. I’ve attended local fundraisers for politicians. Anyone can host a fundraiser but it tends to be ppl with money who host and ppl w/money who attend. It doesn’t matter what u want to call ur fundraiser. The whole point is to gather ppl to hear the candidate speak or others, as was the case here, and get them to donate. All fundraisers r by invite only so all of them r going to exclude ppl. I find it interesting and disingenuous of Fox Business, the woman who said she received the email invite, and hosts of this show to fail to mention that this fundraiser was not setup by Harris or her campaign and that the organizers happen to be white dudes who r Democrats. Nor was that included on the image of the invite. I’m sure every single person who was invited knew who, whether that be personal names or a group name, sent the invite to them. Shame on Fox Business for your deceptive reporting. Deceiving ur viewers shows u don’t respect ur viewers and u think they r dumb enough that u can con them into voting for republicans who represent the wealthy and corporations.
