5 Trends Elegant Women Never Wear

In this video I model the trends you SHOULD NOT WEAR. We all want to look young, stylish and on trend yet some fashion trends are not a good look at any age; however when you are over 50 they definitely make you look like you are trying too hard and that is definitely not French Chic.

Your "If it's not a wow it's a no" has really helped me. I reduced my shopping anyway and have been purchasing quality over quantity but I realized that I use to buy things that weren't exactly right for me and ended up not wearing them. Now if it's not a wow I walk away.

Thank you for your latest report on trends. I agree with all of your opinions, except for the short skirts. You have beautiful legs, so the skirt looks great on you. I think the short skirt could look elegant if worn with flat, conservative shoes, a classic blazer, and a traditional blouse or sweater. Tights would look more elegant than bare legs, of course.

You made me smile. I wore a cardigan yesterday with only one button done. I was wearing a bra and tshirt underneath though 😁. Even when I was young and my body parts hadn't migrated south, I would never have contemplated showing so much skin. You're right. It isn't elegant or classy.

You certainly are in excellent shape and kudos for modeling those trends. When you actually see them on your able to see they just don't work on women 50+. It definitely looks like you are trying to look young but the effect is actually the opposite, you draw the wrong kind of attention, plus there is nothing elegant about those looks. Absolutely agree on all counts. Maybe these can be shown by models for a fashion shoot or by celebrities but I cannot imagine walking down the street in any of these.
