Love this! What caused me to give up building in minecraft was that i overestimated the size and gave up before my village starts. Now with this i am actually managing to make a village! Thank you for this

Man, I wish my family, friends, and I had you while building our world! It’d probably be done by now. As is, only three of us still build after thirteen years of continuous play, and most locations are only half built. We’ve all had to learn amongst ourselves the hard way.

I should probably organize my Google Doc with all the lore and coordinates, come to think of it.

Thank you these tips are amazing. I'm wondering, do you have a website or something with maps of your builds? The one you showed at 5:39 was super helpful to figure out road layout even if it was a tiny section.

Also one more stuff, use mods, client sided one, i mean i love seeing some additional blocks mods but i am trying to build without having mods that add new block types, only thing i would maybe use are vertical slabs, bcz those are amazing for details and should be in vanilla game, some of useful client side mods are litematica, world edit, replay mod (for replaying certain actions or recording your progress in world), axiom (def one of best client sided mods out there) and more.. Ofc u dont need to use mods if u like vanilla style, but mods will help you and save you time, a LOT of time.

I really just need help becuase this is why I dont really start becuase I just dont know how to start.
I found a good seed for this and its in a dark oak biome and its sorunded by big hill mountens u know the ones that spawn in dark oak. I just dont know how to start planning the villge, I want like a medival fantasy villge but I have no clue how to place the buildings and where

what if i can't build, like i have many ideas but just don't know where to start cuz if it turns out bad i'd rather don't do it at all, i often just look for tutorials with a design i like for a build i want to make. but i can't find any for like the whole medieval village. also i'm doing this in survival any tips?
