Your lighting is great in this video. I also think sexuality is a spectrum, and neurodivergent people are more comfortable existing on a spectrum.

We’re just a bunch of quirky queers 😂 🌈

Demi-bisexual, autistic and nonbinary here. I've been thinking about getting a t-shirt which says "On all the spectrums".

Bi lady here. Does that mean I'm Au-Bi? LOL. I do feel like I am in good company. 😊

I am not surprised by this info based on the number of neurodivergent people i meet in my life who are pan, bi or ace (me being pan as well). I think many of us tend to fall in love with good minds and safe people over the bodies they come in which I've learned is not the route most neurotypical people tend to experience to attraction. I think this stat definitely speaks to my personal experience in the community but ill be interested to see more research continue to unfold on the subject as well!

Why do I suspect there's a considerable amount of incomplete data?

I was wondering if you could, please, link the Study. I would really love to read it.

Curious how some statistics can lead to so many questions.
I think apart from these figures the message here is: we're all different, so accept that.

been pondering how many people in the polyamory community are autistic or adhd etc. its so norm for mw but is apparently VERY CONFUSING to most people

The SHOP button covers up the nice pink subtitles you made. So I cannot compute those numbers. 😂

Oh wow. I'm a minority within a minority. Great. Can't get a break, lol.

I’ve never liked labels on my identity. Its definitely not straight. At 60 years old I finally figured out that I am non binary and that there are other ways I don’t conform.
People are always trying to box me into a particular category and it pisses me off because I never feel like I fit neatly into a category.

My therapist asked me if I'm gay because I'm autistic.

I think this is a more complicated topic. For years I was repulsed by the idea of dating men, so I thought I'm a lesbian, but then it turned out that only neurotypical man repulse me, and I'm very happy now dating my autistic boyfriend. Also my female friends, whom I've found attractive were also neurodivergent, so I dare to believe that neurodivergence is attractive to neurodivergent people, because neurodivergent people seek mental and spiritual understanding over bodily pleasure.

What percentage of queer people are neurodivergent? Btw I'm queer (trans and lesbian) as well as neurodivergent (synaesthesia, autism, questioning ADD, and possibly something else I don't think there's a name for yet and I don't want to go into too much detail about, but is probably just an effect of my other neurodivergent conditions.)

I feel like this is because people want to mold us into something more weird. im straight but i get ppl always trying to push or test my own sexuality because they're confused on why i dont act like a normal woman. Although i identify as 26, female, and straight

I love this, since i am literally queer. I am pansexual, demisexual and demiromantic (amongst other demi- orientations, like demiqueerplatonic), and i am also nonbinary (in a genderfluid like way💛🤍💜🖤

Also, thanks for the welcome. It means a lot (considering after doing alot of research, of which i am still doing into autism and neurodivergence - what they entail and how they differ from neurotypicality (if that is a word, lol😅), i feel that i am and have been for a while a neurodivergent person, not sure if i am autistic but possibly).

So thank you again for the welcome, that warms my heart and makes me and my experiences (that aligns with autism and neurodivergence) feel seen and understood. 😊

I keep getting hit on by pan/bi/lesbians who think I'm bi because I'm AFAB and NB.

Well, actually.... I'm more along the lines of a gay man, but can't handle any hormones (including my own monthlies).

My cats are definitely gay, though.
