Thank you for this informative video as I have learned what a fresco painting is, which is made by putting paint on wet plaster. As the paint dries, it sinks into the plaster. It tends to be durable, yet it must be done quickly without mistakes, as the artist has only 9–12 hours to complete the painting before the plaster completely dries and hardens, so it must be done swiftly and accurately.

nice video. One small correction is that the lime interacts with carbon dioxide, not oxygen.

As lime plaster dries, the lime absorbs carbon dioxide from the air to form calcium carbonate crystals, similar to limestone. This process is called carbonization, not oxygen
