UK Learn to Drive Test Changes to the Practical Driving Test - December 2017

The UK’s practical driving test is being revamped from 4 December to give new drivers the skills they need to cope on the roads today.

From 4th December 2017, the 4 major changes to the UK driving test are:

- Independent driving part of the test will increase to 20 minutes
- Following directions from a sat nav
- Reversing manoeuvres will be changed
- Answering a vehicle safety question while you're driving
