I knew He suffered so much agony, but I never knew that bleeding from His pores would make His skin more sensitive so that His whipping, and crown of thorns, and nailing to the cross were even more excruciating than they already would have been. He gave everything for us. So grateful.

Thinking about the unmerciful pain that he suffered for us brings tears to my eyes. The love that was displayed that day is incomprehensible and the knowledge that this was done for me weighs heavily on my heart. I am grateful beyond words. Thank you dear Lord, my Savior, My God. The Lord knew what he was about to go through to save us.
I saw this interview where someone was saying the depiction of The Passion of Christ was like a PG version of what he went through for us. Another interview where he said how many of those people that he performed miracles on them were in the crowd yelling at him to be crucified. It hurts to know that.
