When the market goes down then it's buying opportunity. If the market goes up then you are making money. If you stay invested and ignore the market's ups and downs, you'll make a lot of money in the long run; however, a severe market correction causes a lot of margin calls and sell-offs, driving the market even lower. currently i'm up 13% in my diversified portfolio. As crazy as it sounds some still make enormous returns from this seemingly unknown market. gotta be greedy when others are fearful

Not so sure on HDFC amc business. Literally during the last couple of years, I haven't seen their fund being recommended. So doubtful that they will be able to catch investors. And now that Navi and Zerodha are also jumping into this space, unless they do something drastic, I don't think they would sustain their leadership. My personal opinion.

Being in housing loan industry, below are my observations on Indiabulls housing finance -

1. No one wants to join that company due to poor management decisions and lack of growth.
2. It is easy to get foreclosure letter of loan, they don't even have retention team to retain their customers from transferring their loans to other banks.
3. Have observed a lot of legal, technical calls in cases management has taken to disburse the cases. Risky game indeed!
4. Will you choose to get loan from indiabulls ever? This name won't be your preference. There are other good HFC to bet on
