Why does this administration act like the American people have the attention span of a house fly? We remember exactly what he said about choosing Kamala Harris as a running mate, and it wasn't because he believed she could do the job from day 1! He said that he would choose a woman of color to be the VP. I'd have to pull up the exact footage, but I actually think he said "a black woman" (but that could have been the Ketanji appointment). He believes in DEI, he made his choices off of DEI, and they ALL were quite proud of it at the time; so to say his choice was made strictly off of meritocracy is a flat out lie. We know better. He wanted to check a box. He did, and it blew the "eff" up in their faces! Americans rejected it. I'm tired of them trying to rewrite history. They can't. We were there. They brag that Biden was the only one to beat Trump, but I would argue that, if it had not been for Obama calling Clyburn - and him guilting blacks into backing Biden, he wouldn't have won then. See, they tried the same thing this time. Only this time, it didn't work. As a matter of fact, they cut out the middle man this time and had Obama come out and directly try to shame "the brothas" into voting for Kamala while suggesting they were sexist/misogynist. It fell flat. It was insulting and I believe it made their convictions stronger. You would think that the democrats would be willing to introspectively learn the lesson: if you insult prospective voters, they will not be encouraged to vote for you. People will often vote for candidates that they may not like. But people will NEVER vote for candidates whom they believe don't like THEM!
