I am tired of being left out of conversations about these impacts. We are white, we make less than $50, 000 a year, WE also a cannot afford an EV or any new automobile at this point. Our children (all white same daddy) make less than we do, they cannot afford a modest house.

Tire wear is 400 times more pollution than the exhaust from a 2024 gasoline car. Weight is key to tire wear. Old combustion cars are around 80% of the weight of an EV. New combustion tech will be 50% to 60% of an EV weight. At NO time will an EV be lower pollution as exhaust is nearly irrelevant. Tire wear is key and weight is key to tire wear. Simple equation.

Moreover, RE/nuclear made fuel is 100x less CO2 than gasoline. Also, New combustion tech is "par" to an EV in efficiencies plug to wheel vs pump to wheel.

The weight and brake recovery advantage new combustion tech has results in: 4x hwy, 8x city better and on average 6x less fuel. 33 MPG average turns into 200 MPG with the same body.

With 100 times less CO2 in RE/nuclear made fuels, and 6x better MPG for new combustion with full brake recovery, there is NO point to EVs for pollution or energy use.

EVs are very OBSOLETE.

The cost of making fuel will be 10 to 30 times LESS than charging an EV on a 100% RE grid. This alone will end EVs. Even old ICE cars will be 2 to 6 times less $ for energy than an EV. Only a fool will drive EVs.
