Physical Computing with .NET Core

IoT development was traditionally reserved for the C world. In recent years with the broad adoption of the Raspberry Pi as a viable IoT platform, Python become a first-class citizen in the physical computing world. That being said, with the constant expansion of platforms and devices that support .NET Core, it was only a matter of time until writing C# for IoT devices was a reality. In this session, we will prototype a basic IoT device by using the GPIO pins on a Raspberry Pi running Raspbian with C#. Additionally, we will learn how to communicate with SPI and i2c devices.
