Exactly what I needed. As someone who benefits from a wider toe box and mild medial support, I qualified for Boston in Elite 1 and loved that shoe every mile of it. So the question was if I buy Elite 2 for Boston. I guess I’ll just buy another color of Elite 1.

I actually recently bought version 2 of the Elite and ran my first race in it last Sunday straight out of the box. I absolutely loved it!! It's the most awesome shoe I've ever run in! For your information: I have the Endorphin Pro 3, Endorphin Pro 4, Endorphin Speed 3 (two pairs), the Thriump 20 (two pairs down, one still new in the box), Asics Superblast OG, Puma MagMax, Brooks Glycerin Max, as well as multiple trail shoes (mostly Saucony). I'm a light heel striker: I land on the outer side of my heel first and then very quickly roll over onto my midfoot.

The race I ran was a half marathon. My goal was to run a new PB (minus 2, 5 up to 5 minutes). When I finished and looked at my time, I actually ran 10 minutes of my PB!! I trained hard, so that helped, but this shoe is just phenomenal. I have to address a few things tough. Firstly: this shoe for me is stable when you run straight. In corners you have to slow down. When you go offroad - I had to do that a few times to get past people running in front of me - it's crazy unstable! Also, when you run on brick roads it's gets (pretty) unstable as well; I had to slow down and really focus on my landing. Other than that it's awesome! It keeps your legs more fresh than any other shoe I ran in.

Note to people wanting to buy and try this shoe: for me it ran short, so I went half a size up. Normally I'm a mens size US10, 5 but this shoe I have in a US11.

This is such a radical and interesting change! I love the v1 and like firmer shoes in general. Yet somehow I’m very curious about the 2 😂

Ran Boston and NYC marathon in V1. Even though my feet were killing me towards the end of the race, I feel the firmer foam helps me roll better. I am 100% going to pick up V2 for Berlin next year. Will be interesting to see how it works for me.

I absolutely love my elite v1 and i have now 200 miles and they still running strong and hasn't ripped aprt yet and ill be getting a 2nd pair of them because they wrre so amazing yes v1 start off very firm but they do soften out. Now the v2 im willing to give it a try but i can already tell it wont take my love from v1

Elite 1 is my favourite shoe ever. I have 2 pairs that are still relatively new, but I guess I will have to grab another pair to keep myself sorted. I save them for races and speedwork because that outsole won't stand up to daily use.

The new version looks much more comfortable. I would be going from the Endorphin Pro 2 as my half marathon race shoe, so I assume it would feel very different.

You nailed this I own a pair of the 1s and 2s matter fact I went back and bought a second pair of the 1s version do is good takes. A min to figure out the foam does perform well just very unstable
