RWBY meets the Transformers AMV Mix Special

I've had this idea in my mind for awhile now, and I think it turned out quite well, this is just the first of many, this video is basically a headsup for what is to come.

Team RWBY meeting Optimus Prime (G1/Bumblebee Movie design)

The last two hours for Team RWBY had been interesting to say the least. One minute, the four huntresses-in-training had been preparing for the upcoming Vytal Festival, which was only a week away, and the next a bright light engulfed them and dropped them into a desert. Luckily for them, they all had their weapons, scrolls and some food and water transported with them as well as plenty of ammo for their weapons and the fact that there hadn’t been any Grimm sighted yet was a positive as well. On the other hand, they had no idea where they were or where to go and their scrolls couldn’t contact anyone or show them a map.

“This is hopeless!” grumbled Weiss as she trudged along, “If we don’t find civilisation soon, we’ll run out of food and water and if dehydration won’t kill us, the Grimm or a sandstorm will!” The others couldn’t disagree, but they still wanted to remain a little bit hopeful. “Weiss, none of us know what exactly happened, but I’m sure we’ll get through it.” Said Ruby. “And how can you be so sure?” Blake asked. “We’ve been able to deal with things that no other first years would have been able to. We stopped Roman, fought a giant mech and saved Vale from the Grimm. If we work together, we’ll win together and nothing will stop us!” “You sure have grown up sis.” Yang stated with a large grin on her face. “Mom would be so proud of you.” “Thanks Yang, but you’re just as kind and helpful as she was, and I couldn’t wish for a better sister, .” “Aw, thanks Ruby, that means so much to m-” “Guys, there’s something approaching.” Blake said with a voice full of confusion as she looked in the distance,

Turning around to the direction their Faunus friend was looking, they did see something approaching. Not wanting to take any chance, the girls made sure to have their hands on their weapons just in case things went South. As it got closer, the quartet could see what it was: a cabinet truck with a cab painted in a red colour a few shades lighter than Ruby’s cape and with a flatbed painted in a dark blue colour. The truck was also pulling a dark grey trailer behind it. The truck soon pulled up along side them and more details could be seen, however the most unusual feature was that near the smokestacks and on the trail were images of a strange looking face in the same red colour as the truck, with a silver lining around it.

“Wait, where’s the driver?” Ruby asked as she looked to see the cab was vacant. Weiss, Blake and Yang noticed too, with the former pair unsheathing their weapons and the blonde brawler activating her gauntlets. Ruby was about to reach for Crescent Rose, but then the truck moved again, this time leaving behind the trailer. Then to the surprise of the four girls, the truck began shifting and rearranging itself. The sides of the cab split away and formed arms, with its boulder-sized hands pushing the truck upwards. The flatbed split apart and at the end two feet were formed and stood firm against the desert sand as they began balancing the rest of the vehicle. The cab soon lifted further upwards, forming a torso for the mighty metal machine with the windscreen as its chest as the rear of the cab and smoke stacks formed shoulders for its arms, displaying that strange face. Then, rising from the cab roof came a head. The head was mostly blue-coloured, with the ears being two circlular shapes from which antenna protruded upwards and the forehead being replaced with a vertical ridge. The face was silver with the exception of two bright luminous eyes, nearly the same colour as Weiss’, with its mouth and jaw being covered by a mask of some sort.

The girls were in shock. Ruby and Blake just stood there with their mouths wide open while Weiss fainted, already tired from walking in the desert for the past two hours. Yang quickly recovered however, and put herself between the leviathan and her teammates. “If you can understand me tinny, you’re not gonna come anywhere near my friends!” Yang shouted, ready for a fight. After all, this wasn’t the first time she had fought a robot. However, she was very unprepared for when the robot responded by kneeling down and speaking. “Don’t worry, I don’t mean to harm any of you.” Yang, Blake and Ruby were taken aback again. “Do you mean that?” Ruby asked meekly. The machine then looked at the three girls and their resting friend. As their eyes met, they noticed how soft the otherwise imposing robot’s eyes were, full of happiness, kindness, hope...and even hints of sadness and guilt. “Every word of it.” The robot replied. Ruby looked to her friends who nodded to answer their leader’s silent question as they all deactivated their weapons.

“Do you have a name?” Ruby asked. “Of course, my name is Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots. I hail from the planet Cybertron, as do all other Cybertronians.” The robot - Optimus - answered. “You’re a giant robot from another planet? That’s awesome!” Yang said back “I’m Yang Xiao Long, this is my sister and team leader Ruby Rose, miss unconscious over there is Weiss Schnee and bowhead here is Blake Belladonna and together we make up Team RWBY!” “‘Bowhead’? Really?” Blake questioned her partner in a deadpan tone. “It’s a pleasure to meet you four, even though I must apologise if frightened Weiss when I transformed.” “Don’t worry, she’ll wake up soon, we weren’t here for too long.” Ruby said, trying to prevent Optimus from worrying about possibly hurting Weiss. “Wait how did you find us?” Blake asked. “My scanners picked up four energy readings in this area and as it turns out those readings are coming from you four.” Optimus replied. “That must be our Aura then, it’s an energy field that everyone has that protects us from harm, but if we’re hurt too much it’ll run out and we’ll be defenceless.” “Well, I’ve meet multiple humans but never have I met one with this Aura or one with ears from local wildlife Blake.” “H-how did you know?” Blake asked. “I noticed that your bow was moving despite a lack of wind and I was able to detect pheromones that are also produced by cats, particularly around your bow.” Blake looked down, wondering if Optimus would judge her. “Don’t worry, ” Optimus continued as Blake looked back up at him, “If you want it to be kept a secret, I shall tell no one. I promise - and friends always keep their promises.” Blake just looked at him in confusion. A giant robot who came from another plant and who was also a truck was able to find out her secret in less than five minutes but also considered her a friend. However, she soon formed a small smile as she knew that her secret was for the moment safe.

At that moment, Weiss started coming around. “Ugh, I just had this strange dream where that truck became that robot over the-” Weiss slurred before she snapped awake at seeing the robot from her ‘dream’ standing right there. “I apologise if I caused you distress Weiss, my name is Optimus Prime.” Weiss was trying to figure out how Optimus knew her name but before she could say anything, Yang spoke up “Don’t worry Ice Queen, he’s not going to harm us.” Weiss may not have known Yang as well as Ruby, but one thing she did know is that Yang did have a good judgement of character, so she decided to trust her friend. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Optimus. You did give me a bit of a shock at first, but I was tired from walking.”

“That’s good to hear Weiss. Now that’s taken care of, I need to find a place suitable to contact my friends, as I was suddenly transported here.” Upon learning this, Team RWBY quickly realised something. “That happened to you too?!” Yang asked. “Yes, and considering your reactions and Yang’s question, the same happened to you four, I presume?” The quartet nodded at Optimus’ question. “In that case, I propose we travel together. That way, we can-” before Optimus could finish, a low rumbling noise was filling the sky and it was getting louder.

Optimus checked his scanners again and the girls saw his eyes widen slightly, wondering what was going on. “Optimus, what’s going on?” Ruby asked him worriedly. “Are you four able to fight?” He asked. “Well, you did see my gauntlets right?” Yang asked jokingly trying (and failing) to alleviate the situation. “I mean, yeah we can fight.” She then replied in a serious tone. Optimus spoke again “Good, because we’re in trouble.” Optimus stood up, staring out at the distance, seeing the silhouette of nine aircraft approaching from the sky. “Big trouble.”

The only problem for your little question for your rwby/transformers crossover is selecting which one to choose. I love all of these selections. Maybe you could find away to mix them together. Please😉
