INFERNO SNIPER CANNON - PLZ83-130 in War Thunder

The PLZ83-130 Inferno Cannon in War Thunder was an event tank for China that is now only available on the Gaijin Market. This Tank Destroyer houses a 130mm cannon that fires the same shell as the infamous IS-7 but at the BR of only 7.3!

The PLZ83-130 is pretty squishy. With very little armor protection and a GIANT turret profile, it's a very easy target to hit. The problem is, enemy tanks are very unlikely to survive a direct hit. Even the Tiger 2 and American T34 can't bounce this cannon. THAT is how powerful it is.

Sadly, there is no lineup for the PLZ83, meaning this will be your main tank and backed up with a 7.0 tank and some 6.7 tanks. By the time you go to 8.0, the tank is pretty much useless due to the Medium tanks available to you at that BR.

The cool part with Inferno Cannon is you can research Black Napalm and veterancy at creation (armour general) so it's more powerful than the base

I love how many people slept on this vehicle during the event and it's considered sort of "rare" (you don't seen it often)
I have it and man it is so much fun, you're THE glorified glass cannon capable of destroying anything you face at any distance as long as you're the first shooting

You should try the italian 75/34 M42 Tank destroyer. It has 270g of TNT and 100mm of armor at 3.3. You either love it or hate it. I love it

This thing is insane, I recently purchased it off the market because I couldn't believe how cheap it is for the amount of firepower it gets at 7.3. 1 shotting US heavies through the upper front plate with APHE is the most fun I've had in this game in a long time

Hi, Odd! I know you played it when it first came out but I'm hoping you'll revisit the T72M2 Moderna. Its my favorite tank in the game. it has a fantastic round, gen2 thermals for the commander and gunner, its covered in ERA, has a laser warning system, and it has the BMP2's 30mm autocannon as a coax. An insane amount of kit at only 10.3

PLZ83-130 is one of my favourite tanks in the game aye found out it can front pen the T-95 and pen the maus turret at some pretty funny angles. Great video bud
