Unpacking a VORTEX Ranger 1800 and first setup.
The Rangefinder is very lightweight and the setup through the menu is very easy. You can adjust the Brightness, choose between Yards or Meters, and finally you can choose the Ranging Mode between HCD for most rifle or archery shooting in moderate slopes between 15 to 30 degrees.
Or using the LOS Mode what we did for steep angle shooting in the mountains up or down.
In Part II we take him to the mountains to prove the abilities Vortex promised😉
