Idk how peeps thought it was any faster, since Nintendo clearly demonstrated that the OLED was only different aesthetically and still has the same hardware as the V2 Switch.

Well since the screen and some of the base is different it’s still has the same console power

You should also test load times for games running from internal storage. I’ve heard the OLED’s new 64GB may be slightly faster on long loads - mostly insignificant, but important to speedrunners.

None of this surprises me Nintendo has always made different variations of their handheld devices from the game boy The game boy advance the SP the 3DS and all the other variations in between the switch is no exception that's why fans are still eagerly waiting for a switch pro an ultimate hardware handheld But at this point I think valve is going to give us that dream before Nintendo

I play mine docked 95% of the time, so the OLED version is pointless for me,
Good if you travel a lot, the slightly bigger screen is good, just depends which you prefer

I bought an OLED Switch today. And I am surprised af. It actually is faster than my old Switch. And not just a bit but much better. Loading screen on games two times faster.

Good. I play docked anyway. If I want a portable Switch experience, I’ll use a Lite.
