This is a working anvil I built out of 2 steel tractor front end weights. Each one is 100lbs. They are welded to a 12" x 18" x 1" steel plate. The legs are 2 1/2" square tube in a tripod arrangement. The square tube on side has a 1 1/2" shaft in it. You can see half of a 6lb sledge hammer sticking out the top. This gives me a small round area to use and a long flat area. The flat area is 2 1/2" wide. Thx.

Hi! The metal league of your tractor weight anvil support the mechanical impact of the hammer? My doubt is as to the type of metal of the weights. I'm from Brazil and search for an alternative anvil for my hobby use. Congratulation.
