Apocalyptic literature are the first pieces of Kabbalah I got into it. It gives a different perspective on Christianity and Judaism. So does the apocrypha like the wisdom of Solomon. It was written in the Oxford Bible that apocrypha was meant for the inner initiates and meant hidden things in Greek. An interesting fact now that I am rereading the Bible for the first time in years.

Call me juvenile, but I think the first 5-1/2 minutes funny as hell! I'm 65 years old and still think these old stories funny when the say something like "and the camel scared his ass", etc. And, the imagery of the god's head coming off into Abraham's hands would be fit for a Laurel and Hardy movie! I can just see Stanley holding the disembodied head while Oliver gets exasperated and beats him with his hat.ROTFL!🤣

I still not umderstand that a God in who there is no darkness can be so revengeful. Yeshua said love and forgive your enemies, but God is taking revenge. I thought that God and Yeshua were kinda the same?
