actually, The kanji used for Shirotori’s name (白鳥) does mean swan, but it’s read differently for the actual word. It’s read as hakuchou, and this is because each Japanese character can have multiple ways of being read.

Fun Fact (I saw while reading the Episode 7 Comments) : The whole Arcobatic Silky Backstory scene started at at the 10 minute mark of the episode, and it ended exactly at the 17 minute mark. And I remember this fact about the brain, wherein after you die, the brain is still functioning and conscious for 7 minutes.

So, what you saw of her flashback are basically the memories and the life that she remembers of before dying.
