The Secret Sauce: Marshall based diy Tube Preamp

This thing has been an ongoing project now since well, my first Trainwreck preamp build. As much as I loved the sound of the Trainwreck circuit, I just kept messing with this preamp till I've ended up where I am now!
With an added 12ax7, this update to the preamp is quite a beast, and quite versatile as well.
I really encourage anyone out there with basic electronics knowledge to give a project like this a whirl; it's quite easy, very fun to mess around with, and relatively cheap. The most expensive part is the power transformer; and mine was free since it was salvaged from my other amp project (old Epiphone Valve Special PT).
