Recollections - Morawa - Kingsley McGlew

I grew up on a wheat/sheep farm outside of Morawa in Western Australia. The sky was endless and the summer heat made for languor dreams. The farm house was the centre of my universe.

Koolanooka Springs offered a playground to explore. It was a mysterious landscape that held timeless secrets.

Morawa to my childish mind, was a large complicated town where neighbours lived so close. Whenever we journeyed to town, it was for a purpose. The seasons reflected the sports that we played.

School interrupted my daydreams.
