Casual fans need that reality TV element. Fans that appreciate sports want to see exciting gameplay. Flashy passes, acrobatic shots, one on one play, raw emotion and competitiveness. Women’s sports need to bottle up the atmosphere and pageantry of women’s college sports. They also need to introduce fans to female athletes during the high school years. By the time most male athletes are freshmen or sophomores in high school we already know their name and their game. Create matchups of marquee HS teams and put them on ESPN in prime time slots. Pay celebrities to go sit courtside. If Megan Thee Stallion, Taylor Swift, Drake, and Lil Wayne showed up at women’s sports events on the regular it would put it on a whole new level

I’m really hoping that when Reese, Clark and the rest of these stars on college get to the WNBA, it’s going to be like the start of a new more mainstream era. Not saying it’s gotta put up the same numbers and the NBA, just be a good, competitive, well marketed sport

No!!! The problem is that womens' sport is of much lower quality. The storyline/narrative does not matter when we can clearly see that males are much stronger, more coordinated, more explosive etc.

I also have been COMPLETELY turned off by the USWNT just...brazenly LYING about being paid less than the Men when it was really a "we can offer you benefits, retirement and a guaranteed base salary OR a larger bonus for winning, " and they replied, "yes."

The only sport that I enjoy watching both genders play is volleyball, because it's two completely different games. Women's vb is all about rallies while men's vb is about the power on display. I love watching both, but other than that, no other sport that men and women play is interesting to me because the men's game is simply more entertaining.

Womens basketball sucks because the talent pool is small. Womens soccer is entertaining because it has a large talent pool. If women were slamming down monstrous dunks on one another people would watch but they can barely dunk the ball soooo
