Principal Served Surprise of his Life!

The Change Reaction (TCR) is a non-profit in LA that empowers community heroes to give more to the people they serve. TCR told us about Dana Hammond, an amazing Principal from LA who started his own charter school, Academy of Media Arts, that serves underserved students in the community where he's from. They wanted to celebrate/surprise him and we knew we had to share this uplifting and inspiring story, which turned into our BIGGEST SURPRISE EVER.

I had an awesome HS principal as well. He encouraged his students to do our best. Unfortunately, he died from cancer the summer after I graduated. You never showed he was sick and suffering. Strong, kind, loving, and invested in the future of his kids. I've been blessed to know him.
