Find an open space: Ensure you have a clear and safe area to perform the exercise, preferably on a flat surface.

Stand on one leg: Start by balancing on one leg, with your knee slightly bent and your core engaged. Maintain a stable and controlled position throughout the exercise.

Initiate the forward jump: Begin the exercise by explosively pushing off the ground with the single leg you're standing on. Extend your ankle, knee, and hip simultaneously, generating power to propel your body forward.

Coordinate arm movement: As you jump forward, swing your arms in a natural and rhythmic motion to help generate momentum and assist in propelling your body forward.

Land softly and with control: As you land from the forward jump, focus on landing softly and absorbing the impact. Bend your knee and hip of the single leg to cushion the landing and maintain balance.

Initiate the reverse jump: From the landing position, quickly transition into a backward jump on the same single leg. Push off forcefully through the balls of your feet, extending your ankle, knee, and hip to propel your body backward.

Coordinate arm movement: As you jump backward, swing your arms in the opposite direction to help generate momentum and assist in propelling your body backward.

Land softly and with control: As you land from the reverse jump, focus on landing softly and absorbing the impact. Bend your knee and hip of the single leg to cushion the landing and maintain balance.

Reset and repeat: After landing from the backward jump, quickly reset your position on the single leg and prepare for the next cycle. Repeat the exercise, alternating between forward and backward jumps on the same leg, for the desired number of repetitions.
