I don't think it's too steep to say Pickford robbed Virgil, Liverpool and us fans of the chance to see him become the undisputed best CB of all time. Virg has not been the same since, when he really should've went on to be even better than what he had already seen from him. That disgusting challenge went completely unpunished, absolutely disgraceful.

Fully agree. He needs competition due to his performances this season. Not on top of his defending at the moment

I agree mate. He still does have a leadership roll to play. But long term replacement is paramount. I like the look of Quansah next to Ibou. Matip and Virg have served their time well.

I think he is doing a lot better this season than last season. Since getting the Captaincy his game has gone up another level. Still not quite the same but much better and alot more consistent and defending better as well

This is some BS! VvD is in the top 5 CD in the world. The only reason Liverpool is no in top of the League is VAR

Van dijk was the best defender in the world in 2021/22 and this season. Last season he was just burnt out from playing too many games and winning nothing, also World Cup with his country which he captained and missed a pen which put him in an even more downwards spiral. People need to also remember his horrible form in the 2020/21 season prior to the Pickford incident, where he held 7 against villa and 3 against Leeds.

Pickford on Virgil, RAMOS on Salah and Karius.He may try to hide from his family as long as he could.Thats really an intention and out of football.Not nice, he's very Lucky that they are still able to continue their career, even if it's not their 100% or their past capabilities.
