The power bi team released last week some improvements on the dataflows features.
You can read more here:
Among other things, the news are:
1. Dataflows now supports 47 connectors, and counting!
2. Added support for many more connectors behind the scenes, even if not available yet in the UI.
3. Added support on Web Page data connector for Basic authentication, so you can use it providing just a user name and password.
4. Added support for running native database queries.
5. The Power Query Online engine, which dataflows use while refreshing, now fully supports all transformations which are supported in Power Query Desktop. Even transformations you don’t yet see in the PQO UI experience.
