I have a decent smash, what I follow is:

1. Swift swing of hands (increases heaviness)
2. Contact point (by practice)
3. 8-figure biceps/triceps weight training
4. Weighted squats (for jump)

Being tall is such a massive advantage for smashing. The risk of hitting the net when hitting from the back is reduced a lot.

All the people that try and suggest being tall is this huge advantage. Outta study the history of badminton and see that being tall is NOT a mere advantage. Can the people that think that not see that it is significantly mote difficult to move around fast when your tall. Victor is awesome, but that is mostly because he knows how to use what he was given. Th roast majority of the best badminton players in history were under 6 feet, dispensing with the myth of the 'tall advantage'.

"The average height favoured by badminton seems to be in the range between 5-8” and 6. Three of the contemporary greats – Lin Dan, Lee Chong Wei and Taufik Hidayat, appear to be between 5-8” and 5-10”. Peter Gade is a shade taller, probably around 6."

And those are the facts.

Pretty sure, VK clear height advantage is everything. If you think about if Anthony Ginting was 194 cm he would have world 1 too. All pro badminton are hard workers in their own way.

In China this new but currently pervasive type of smash is called 霸王杀. The point is to raise the racquet high in advance and hit the shuttle with shorter swinging. The resulting smash is not necessarily heavier but is sharper and more unpredictable. This is in contrast to the “old” type of smash by Taufik and LCW.

How to smash powerful:
Step 1: Increase your wrist power
Step 2: Eat a decent diet

This is actually how to smash strong
Step: 1 use your wrist when smashing
Step 2: Bend your whole. Body or spine when smashing
Always hold the badminton softly but when smashing hold it strong sunddently
Ok thats how
