Thx Bud. You saved me from buying a new shifter assembly. Battery was dead dead. Couldn't get inside. Had to pop the hood latch with a long screwdriver. Then trickle charge the battery for an hour or so. Then I found you. Thx again.

You definitely over complicated the amount required to remove to access the sensor, however I must thank you for posting the part number. Ordered Saturday, here Tuesday morning, fixed in 10 minutes. I didn't have any broken plastic pieces from the shifter luckily, just a really warn out sensor that no longer had contacts. Quick and simple and total cost was under 20 bucks

Hey, I watched your video on the Ford F150 console shifter replacement, which I jumped for joy when I saw that because I took mine completely apart cleaned everything messed up. The shifter knob was gonna order that also ever since I had the truck the overdrive button would stick and I’d have to pry it up with a knife Took a lot of time cleaning it up but waiting for the knob that I was gonna order. I broke the plastic piece off, driving it until I got a knob dummy. Anyway I’ve been trying to find a part on your typical rock auto Walmart. What I would like to know is where you got that since I can’t find it the whole new shifter that you had and put in that would be awesome. If you could let me know that great videoany information would be grateful you have a blessed day thanks, Larry.

on mine the lever that hits that switch busted off and now ive got replace the entire assembly, but all that sites say that part number wont fit 2012 F 150 eco boost

How did you find that part number? Dorman also has a repair switch 905-026 that comes with the crimp splices. Way more money though $40 or so. I ordered mine for my 2012 Fusion that has the exact same issue from Newark for $7.56 plus $10 in shipping

guys if needed for somebody i found original PN for this switch: OMRON D2HW-C201M. I dont understand why Dorman charging 40$ for this piece, but you can get this part for few bucks.
