I thought the same thing until I was diagnosed with cptsd at the age of 30 and learned that weird trance-like state I would slip into whenever I felt trapped or overwhelmed was actually my mind dissociating. But I figured I had gotten by well enough up to that point and decided my case must not be as bad as most others. That is, til I turned 40 and stopped being able to snap myself back to reality when it happened, because apparently after a certain age, your coping mechanisms start breaking down and if you haven't been therapy to prepare for it, your entire life can unravel.

I'm hoping this guy was smarter than I was. If you find out you have a trauma disorder, stop what you're doing and go talk to a professional. Your future self will thank you for it.

My second deployment to Iraq (2006) the conversation around PTSD started to be implemented upon redeployment (when we were heading home) but this is only after a handful of back to back suicides & domestic homicides (murder/suicide) situations within just my Battalion… in fact, i didn’t realize it until later, but my position within the unit changed to take over for the soldier who had been shot and killed by her soldier spouse in front of their children and then turned the gun on himself. I find it more rare to find a Soldier, Sailor or Airmen that has NOT suffered trauma. Now, as a Chinese medical practitioner I am able to work with other veterans to help them restore balance in their body & mind ☯️✌️

Hi Andrew, I'm a few videos behind due that Horrible lower back pain again just like our friend Molly Bloom. I'll catch up starting with this one. 🤓😁🤪 I hope your nearly finished writing that book about the philosophy of dreams. I'm dying to read it or listen to it somewhere. This poor man with P.T.S.D .I know just from the shorts, that you make millions on 🤪 it will be heart wrenching
